My classes with Akhil have been engaging and tailored to my specific needs. He was particularly good at helping me create associations, for ex., he often used situations drawn from my own life, like presenting my best friend or talking about my sister (it helped that he got to know me through the classes!), which made the content more memorable and relevant. Each session was based on active learning, encouraging me to think and participate rather than listening passively. We also watched fun educational videos, analysed a few songs (Dans les yeux d’Emilie), and role-played situations like being in a supermarket. I greatly appreciate Akhil’s enthusiasm, which made me develop a genuine love for French. He also kept the lessons dynamic by introducing new activities each time, so learning never felt like a chore but rather something I looked forward to!

What I really appreciated was that you managed to balance the needs of two students with similar French levels but different challenges, giving equal attention to both of our specific issues. The approach felt really tailored to the priorities we discussed before starting the classes, and the speaking exercises we engaged in were not only relevant but also super creative and fun. I also enjoyed the debate topics you chose, as they were linked to our personal backgrounds.

I had the pleasure of taking French lessons with Akhil and I highly recommend him. His interpreting background truly sets him apart as he has an incredible ear for detail. He structured lessons and combined them with varied interpreting exercises to make each session dynamic and beneficial. Besides, I got to know a lot about topics previously unknown to me such as sharing economy & demography. I enjoy my classes with Akhil. I think what makes him stand apart is the attention he gives during the class. This includes pointing out things you didn’t expect in your grammar/vocabulary, but also in your thinking process. He has a super joyful nature as well, which is always a plus 🙂

Je suis vraiment très contente d’avoir rencontré Akhil. J’apprécie énormément ses cours ! C’est à la fois une excellente personne et un très bon professeur. Je participe régulièrement aux ateliers de conversation ainsi qu’aux cours collectifs, et je sens que cela m’a beaucoup aidée à améliorer mon niveau de français. Ses corrections sont toujours pertinentes et ses cours sont très dynamiques. Impossible de s’ennuyer !
Akhil est bienveillant, toujours de bonne énergie, et il propose des sujets de travail très intéressants. On apprend souvent bien plus que le français, notamment en matière de culture générale. Je le recommande vivement.
